Ole Andreas Knudsen = Excitement, Make Up & Colors

Ole doesent carry a wallet in his backpocket, he carries creativity.
The young and talented makeup artist is working his way through the narrow and exciting streets of Oslo with a big white smile stuck on his face. Eight months has passed since he moved back from his three years educational stay in Spain, but its hasent been eight silent months.

With a Bachelor in Fashion Marketing & Communication, and a 6 months professional make-up course at Art Complexion, Mr Knudsen is ready to take the Norwegian population under his arm, and carry us out in the big fashion fields. This boy has already worked for Oslo Fashion Week, NRK, Bobbi Brown and Polhem Pr. Where is the next stop? The big smile on his face shows me how excited he is about this, and how much he is willing to work hard to reach his goal. His aim is to have the responsibility of a major world wide fashion/make up campaign or a own brand. Keep on working Ole, if you keep up todays enthusiasm you will reach far.

One big issue for Norwegian creatives within the fashionfield, is the lack of support from the Gouvernment. It is hard to get up and beyond without a established network behind, so I have to agree with Ole when he says that they need to be more engaged to Norwegian Design & fashion culture. This is a shout out for you Trond Giske, drop the beer drinking in the weekdays and turn your head towards us. We are here waiting to get eye contact with you.

In fifty years after plenty of discussions back and forward with the Norwegian Gouvernment, when all the goals are reached and when Ole`s makeup has put staines on all camera lenses around Europe, he will lean back and say;

"It has never been my object to record my dreams, just to realize them."

1.The Natural

Skin is in! Taking care of your skin is crucial regarding a good make up. With good skin you don’t need much make up. Use a cleanser, tonic, a good moisturizer and a good eye cream in order for your skin to look healthy and glowing. A touch of concealer under the eyes, eyeliner on the upper eyelid, mascara a hint of bronzer in the cheeks and some lip gloss is enough for the natural summer look.

2.The Peachy vs.the Innocent
Knowing the basic on how to take care of your skin, enhance one of the features your most happy with (eyes vs. mouth) in some cases both. For this summer, bright colours such as peach, light pink, light green and blue is a very good choice if you want to enhance your eyes and be seen in a crowd. If you dare, try a warm red toned lip stick/gloss on your lips. Mascara and eyeliner is applied on the upper eyelid.

3.Smokey eyes
Oh, yes! The smokey eyes never goes out of fashion. Use colours such as grey, plum or brown as a base on your eye lid, remember to apply underneath the eyes aswell. Use black or brown eyeliner onder and over the eyelid and smudge it into the already applied colour. Then choose a darker tone than the one you’ve already applied in the outer crease of the eye The final trick is to soften the edges and use a skin toned colour all the way around the eye area – creating a more intense look. Apply mascara at the end.

"Also I would like to say to all you out there who loves to use bronzer or blush – find a color that looks like your natural color (eks. After a work out, see what colour your cheeks are – that’s your natural blush colour! You don’t get brown in your cheecks do you?) Hope you enjoyed it, and don’t be afraid to experiment after you know these looks." Ole Andreas Knudsen
