Its cloudy today..
Not to cold but kindof grey and boring weather.
I got my fridge filled up with fresh vegetables and half of a chicken waiting to be made into a salad later this afternoon.. It saturday, im under the blanket, got all the candlelights lid up, just read the morning news.. Its saturday.. The hotchocolate tasted extrodinary good this morning, and I didnt even add cream. Guess its just one of those days!:) have you ever taken something for granted? I think Ive taken a chilled saturday inside for granted. I keep catching myself in ALWAYS overbooking when Im off work. But today I just have 2 plans.. Chill and CHILL!!

I was going through my old Itunes playlist and came over this song. Its still sooo heartbreaking to me! That little voice is speaking for so unbevliably many children out there who lost their mum, dad, uncle, aunt, grandpa or grandma.. And even now, after so many year since 9/11, it still gets to me.

Neew week, new oportunities, new impulses and hopefully a new week without snow. I was so happy yesterday when I said to G, "G u know what, next weekend is gonna be my first "at home" weekend in months" .. G looked at me with a laugh on her face "Mia, next weekend is Robins birthday" .. U GOT TO ME KIDDING me.. 4th week in a row with bdays??!! hahaha.. whats the ods.. Oh well, sleeping is for elders I guess.

Living for the weekends

Its FRIDAY!! Gosh, the sun is blending me as I sit here waiting for my pasta to be done. Pastasalad, garlic dressing, new showered hair and a big smile on my face. ITS WEEKEND guys. Im working late today, and tomorrow but Im still excited about weekend. Loads of customers, happy faces and a good atmosphere is waiting for me at H&M :)

I`ve been planning tomorrows outfit since monday.. I guess I live for the weekends. The thought about chillin at deck the WHOLE of sunday is warming my heart. But first, its Jons 30th birthday coming up tomorrow. International parties are always fun, I guess u all figured out by now that I love that:) haha..

The feeling of being in love.. with nothing..

Have you ever had that feeling that u get butterflies in ur stomach? You laugh uncontrolably for NO reason what so ever?.. You have a feeling of being in love, but your not.. I`ve had that feeling for the last days, could it be the boat? I find myself smiling and giggling for myself, I want to enjoy a glass of wine just for the the taste of it, I actually plan my weekends outfit already. Whats going on? Is it a clisje to say that I feel like a new person?

Life is pretty good now days.. No worries and just pure happyness. I have a feeling something amazing is right around the corner. Or maybe its here now?

I was thinking about it today when I left work. I saw two tourists taking pictures infront of the harbor. They proudly presented the boats in the background. And I was thinking to myself; Oh my god, Im actually living somebodys dream.. How often do we get to say that?? :)

Guys, good news. IM INSPIRED!!! Im back from 5days weekendbreak in London, Ive seen it all - and Im oficially back on track. Cambden, Angels, Notting Hill are just few of the places that really inspired me. The colors, the streets that were customemade for a goth, a punk, a 50s girl.. U name it. Pictures coming up, just needed to share my enthusiasm before heading of to work. Aircondition killed me again ofcourse, damn planes!!! But yeah, Im ready for a new project.. Whos up for it?

Lack of satisfaction

I keep finding myself always searching for more. Like Im not satisfied with what I have.. Dont get me wrong, I love every person that has been around me the last years.. I mean carrierwise, I mean with travelling, I mean with meeting new people. I just keep wanting more. Is it a bad thing? Or is it normal? I mean I LOVE my job.. every part of it!! But Im always looking for a way to learn more and grow everyday. I know thats a good thing though but it could be nice just want to relax for a second. :)
G, why cant we just be one of those "staying at home, enjoying my hot chocolate under a blanket" girls ?? Whatever happened to enjoying the everyday NORMAL life. I cant.. I need excitement, I need daily impulses of creativity, new ways of thinking and inspiration...

Empty apartment

Im sitting here on a table, with boxes and bags surrounding me. The walls are empty but yet so many memories stuck to them. the cuborns are empty but yet filled with love.. Im leaving my crib with a smile on my face! A new start is waiting, no bitter memories, its just a place filled with love, good food & pure joy !! Good aura left to the next person moving in !! :)

Well guys.. welcome to a new start in Miss Jacobsens life. This is our new home.. Tomorrow it will be confirmed, but we are 99% sure we will get it.
Our new place to find inspiration!!! A completely renovated boat at the harbor in Oslo! What a great start to a new everyday life.. We are the first ones to try it, and the first ones to enjoy it to the maximum!!!

Oh how I wish I could be off work tomorrow.. I would love that new jacket.. What if I travelled to Barcelona tomorrow.. A burger.. A icecold glass of cava in my hand.. That superfresh purse i saw in the window the other day.. But me.. all i wish for right now is honesty!!

Have you ever had that feeling?

One day you wake up.. the sun is shining, its cold enough to put on your new fresh coat that you bought from the new fall collection, its tempting to put on glows.. You dedicate 2 hours of your afternoon just to go to IKEA to buy candlelights.. Fall is here. Isnt it fantastic? Its that middleseason feeling, the temptation of having a girlsnight at home with wine and candlelights.. the temptation of spending a saturdaynight home with that very special. Summer is over, no more rushing to the park, no more long hours outside after work. PURE satisfaction of just chillin..

But just before you get to close your eyes and dream about theese very moments, winter is here. It embraces every bone in your body, and nomatter how warm you dress.. its still cold. In this exact moment I open my eyes in a desperate confusion. What the hell am I doing in Norway?

The blonde explorer!!

To put it like this.. When ur fedup with the nightlife in Oslo, and had a shitty week - u cant really say no to a african confirmation party invitation. I wanted something new, and I got it served 10 minutes outside of Oslo. What a colorful & fun night.

I`ve actually never felt as blonde as i did yesterday.. 200 africans, 100 different national dresses, african food, african rhytmn and ofcourse Mia`s black humor inbetween it all! haha. Actually when we arrived the location, I had to ask my friend Denis "Is this a concert??" and he said "No Mia its my family" hahahha.. What a contrast from my confirmation celebration. 15 of us.. one table in our cute little livingroom back in Mo i Rana.. Wow imagine all the presents!

Well guys.. I recomend you to always try something new if it comes your way!! Its never scary to stand out in a crowd like I did yesterday.. Its pure excitement!! :)

Ahh.. It makes me sick. G and I went to a concert yesterday. The dead Norwegians were standing straight up, faced towards the stage, hands in their pockets and SILENCEEEE.. not even as much as a cheer for poor Kate Nash!! She even said it " I couldve whispered here".. Time passed by and my second drink finished. I raised my hand and screamed out.. WOOOHOOOO.. I mean, IT WAS A CONCERT FOR GODS SAKE!!! What happened?; a guy turned around "can u shut the fuck up". hahahaha.. G and I were in complete shock. We went to the back of the place, listened to one more song and left. Thats it.. We are moving to another place where people inspire & suprising things happens everyday. But where? Suggestions?

Back to smoking week 3

I guess I updated you guys on my NOsmoking upto week 3.. it was great. fresh breath, great skin,loads of energy. And then the partyseason came. parklife, travelling, inspiration, long nights with wine and along came the marlboro lights!! Shit!! I really enjoyed the no-smoking everyday. But now Im back.. But its not going to last forever I tell ya! Isnt temptation a bitch?? How do you deal with temptation when its illegal? Any tips? How do you get through the parties without smoking? I get it.. U just dont.. haha, okey time for a slap in my head.
Ill get back on track soon I PROMISE!!!!! Just have some things to take care of first. Get back to u!!

Barcelona memories

Two years has past so fast.. 3 jobs, plenty of new friends, plenty of old friends has moved, 20 pair of new shoes, a whole new wardrobe, X country visited.. but it took incredible 2 years to finally meet up with all my fantastic Barcelona familymembers.
Thursday night, one week ago.. Wine, gossip and endless catchup.

We live in the same city...but yet.. 2 years. It made me think about how selfish we all are with our time. Busy here, busy there.. Its hard to belive I`ve been that busy to prioritise qualitytime with good old Bcn-family for the last 24 months. This will change my friends.. The truth is; I work 8 hours a day and go home or to the gym.. Atleast that what I used to do. From now on - PURE CATCHING UP WITH EVERYBODY worth catching up with. Just give me time,place and date.. Not only was it chaos.. it was sooo much fun being in the chaos!
H&M started their annualy "Fashion Against Aids" campaign today and this year they are going for the complete Festival look.
I am a lucky buyer of a tent and a sleepingbag for the sweet price of only 248,- . Its a must have for my campingplans for my 25`th birthday :)
Other than that they had fantastic tops, dresses and a fabolous jeans shorts!!
