working in a shoe store!! Sooo my next option was to be cool in wool!!

As time changes so do we...I find it scary how beauty changes with time.. I feel that todays glamour has nothing to do with charm, joy & fun.. When I looked at this comparison i just came to realise that we dont appriciate delicasy and beauty the way they did in the old days..When covered beauty was left to the imagination & army men spent tonns of money on sending postcards like this to their friends of the "hot woman". Beauty was once sporty, fun and charming.. Todays beauty is all about knives, injections and lack of style.

This is my babygirl Prada. We bought her in Spain, and then she went with Allison to Guatemala when i decided to move back home. Miss her sooooo much!! This bag is actually a Fris & Company bag that I bought at Bik Bok (norwegian retailer) years ago.. I didnt even know it was a puppy bag, untill i saw the Gold bone saying PUPPY LOVE !! But I loved the purse so I decided to keep in anyway! Turned out to be a good idea:)

This is actually my rooomie Mie. She is my little niese and now a model for nycfactory. This hoodie is super cool, and is not sold in any norwegian store. Can be bought for a good price at www.nycfactory.com under ILOVENY categories :) But for now she is the coolest hot dog in Oslo !!

Welcome back La Princesa de Noruega

Wooow.. I think I need to welcome myself back.. After 2 months with alot of working, private projects, creation of another blog, a lot of travelling etc etc, I AM NOW BACK ON TRACK!!!

Seven sunny,cold,rainy and different months has passed in Norway and I am now starting to feel like a Norwegian again. With a lot of work, beautiful shoes. amazing friends and fun nightlife Im enjoying this city more and more.. I think I could fit in to most big cities around the world.. cause in the end is more how you make your living yourself, right??

So Barcelona is now a beautiful chapter of my pink book, and I am proud to say that I have started a new one.. what should we call it?

Rain is poring down.. Summer is over..

The end of august is approaching.. Finally I have a job:) Im starting off as a assistant store manager in a very nice shoe store called Bianco.. Oh my God, the shoooes.. the shoes are better than a hot cup of chocolate on a cold winterday.. they are better than a unexpected kiss in the dark.. they are.. heavenly:) http://www.bianco.com/ - for those of you that cant check out the shoes in Norway:)

The rain is poring down.. I just spoke to "the bodyguard" in Barcelona.. The sun is apparantly shining and its super hot.. and here I am, home from a nice workout outside - SOAKING weet!! i guess thats reality.. I have to get used to looong and coooold days. Its okey when I have my angels around me. Lise Lotte (one of my closest friends) is coming to visit me again, last month when she was here was AMAZiNG!! that makes weather and cold less important:)

I am planning to do some travelling though.. cant decidede to where I should go ..

Life back in Norway

Tuesday morning - On my way to a job interview!!

One month has passed and I am now trying to establish myself in Oslo - the capital of Norway. To be honest, it has not been easy, even though I enjoy every second with my family and my friends. Norwegians are known for oil, fish and... for being a little cold. I can now understand why foreigners in Norway are having a hard time living here. The culture is just so much more different than from Spain. When you meet people for the first time you get a cold handshake with 1 meters distance. You cant smile to people you dont know, that means you "might be hitting on them", and lets not get started on the cafe and restaurant life that i have been living for 3 years now. IT HAS TO BRUTALLY stop!! Im not complaining , but its just so much more different than I remembered. To be social on a cafe or a restaurant here, costs a fortune. But what is nice is our gatherings in the house where we cook together and enjoy bottles of wine and catch up on the 3 "lost" years with my girls.

Well, with that being said, it is understandable that I have needed some time to wash away the "Catalan Mia" , inorder to fit in here. Now I am applying for jobs and hopefully I will get something very soon. Thank God that my friends Ole, Ray and Elin also moved back to Oslo after our life in BCN! We are gonna turn Norwegian fashion on the head. Just wait and see.. And you might ask yourself, Norwegian fashion??? Yes darling, we have something called Norwegian fashion aswell - now its just OUR job to get it out there!!

Long live our life in Barcelona, I cant belive Im not going back there.
